GOYA was created as a Brand name when Champagne Fashions Ltd was established in 1993 by two friends Mr Gursel Yildiz and Mr Asim Ozdil, the name simply representing the initials of the two co-founders.

Champagne Fashions Ltd traded as a ladies' boutique until 1998 under the brand name GOYA.

In 1998 the company ventured into the ladies' fashion wholesale market when it opened its Cash & Carry showroom in the Finsbury Park area of North London. Various brands are marketed through the showroom including the own brand GOYA.

In 2001 the company produced its first eveningwear collection and since then GOYA evolved into a renowned brand specialising in dresses for proms, bridesmaids, cocktails and special occasions.

The collection is a special collection of styles and colours and fabrics with elegant hand beading and embroidery. When selecting styles for the collection special emphasis is given to uniqueness, elegance, fit and affordability of the gowns.
